WHO ATTENDS LORI'S WORKSHOPS?
Our workshops are attended by chiropractors, physical therapists, pediatricians, IBCLC's, pediatric dentists, myofunctional therapists, speech and occupational therapists, RN's, midwives, doulas, massage therapists, Craniosacral therapists or any practitioner that loves working with babies!

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES FOR LORI'S WORKSHOP?
Although some anatomy knowledge is helpful, it is not necessary. No prerequisites are required.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM LORI'S WORKSHOP?
Students will learn to apply, demonstrate and explain the 10 step Craniosacral Protocol and Lori's specialized fascia release techniques that address myriad pathologies/struggles currently presenting in infants (plageocephaly, torticollis, acid reflux, feeding difficulties, oral tie restrictions, 'colic', tight and restricted overall muscle tone, an inability to engage the parasympathetic nervous system, and a general discomfort throughout the body).  Students will be encouraged to discuss and practice hands-on techniques (with each other and with baby dolls) involving the anatomical and energetic aspects of Craniosacral therapy and its functional relationship with fascia throughout the human body.

Lori's practical and efficiently applicable approach to Craniosacral therapy allow students to apply the techniques they learn in class confidently and in tandem with their own personal style and modality of bodywork.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LORI'S ONLINE WORKSHOP AND IN-PERSON WORKSHOP?
The in-person and online workshops are the same workshop, varying with student discussion. Both cover the entire craniosacral protocol and Lori's stretch protocol. In-person workshops have started to focus on oral ties more extensively. Our online workshop covers oral ties briefly but not as extensively as in-person.

Students who attend Lori’s in-person workshops receive a previously recorded workshop very similar in format and style as her in-person workshops. The new online workshop takes a more comprehensive and personal approach with Lori teaching directly to the camera condensing the learning experience from five hours to 1 1/2 hours.  This new, on-demand workshop, is being offered to practitioners and laypeople alike and is not associated with any past or future in-person or online workshop packages.

DO I NEED TO BE CERTIFIED IN CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?
As of 2024, there is no governing body or Board of Examiners regarding the practice of Craniosacral Therapy.  If your state requires a 'license to touch', it would be to the students discretion on how to proceed with a clinical practice.

DO I RECEIVE CEUS FROM YOUR WORKSHOPS?
After Lori's workshop (online and in-person) you will receive a certificate of completion. We do not offer CEUs but you can certainly ask your board if they’d cover it as an elective or other option.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS?
No, these are two different workshops. If you would like to purchase the new online workshop, you can purchase here. You still have lifetime and unlimited access to the previous workshop you already purchased.

WHAT IF I SIGNED UP FOR IN-PERSON AND CANNOT MAKE IT DAY OF?
You will still receive access to viewing our previously recorded workshop, along with your certificate of completion.

I PURCHASED THE ONLINE WORKSHOP AND/OR STRETCH BUNDLE AND CAN’T FIND THE PASSWORD. WHAT DO I DO?
Please review your receipt and find the access code. The access code is different to the password. The access code brings you to the online workshop and/or stretch bundle downloads. The password for watching the online video, or downloading the videos, is in that page. Please read carefully and you will see it.

IF I PURCHASED THE PREVIOUS ONLINE WORKSHOP, DO I GET THE NEW ONE TOO?
No, these are two different workshops. If you would like to purchase the new online workshop, you can purchase here. You still have lifetime and unlimited access to the previous workshop you already purchased.

WHAT DOLL DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR YOUR WORKSHOPS AND PRACTICE?
Here is one on Amazon that has worked well. Any large and soft-bodied doll will do the trick!

WHAT IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?

ABOUT LORI:
Lori was trained in CST in 1999-2001 and has been practicing in Minnesota and Wisconsin since that time.  Currently, Lori treats patients out of her home in Princeton, Minnesota and also shares her knowledge and experience with Chiropractors and other healthcare professionals through live workshops nationwide.

In her practice, Lori works to keep parents independent of her care (as much as possible) by teaching them specific stretches to perform on their infants as well as other tips to improve nursing latches and digestive and sleeping issues.

Since the early 2000's, we have seen a significant rise in plageocephaly, torticollis, acid reflux, nursing difficulties, digestive issues and overall restriction and hypertension in infants.  In recent years, infant oral ties have gained recognition as well.  Lori works with local IBCLC’s, midwives, occupational therapists, speech therapists, myofunctional therapists and oral release providers to help and support families that are dealing with feeding, sleeping and breathing issues in their infants.  Lori has followed the teachings of Dr. Ghaheri, Dr. Nora Zaghi, and Richard Baxter along with a myriad of other experts in these specialized fields.  Lori also has the privilege of teaching and networking with a broad spectrum of practitioners nationwide that work with babies and their families to secure the very best lifelong outcomes for infants that struggle with these challenges. The science in this area has plenty of room to progress!  In the meantime, Lori’s focus is to ensure that each mother/infant couple be served in a way that focuses on their unique and individual needs and goals using the knowledge and tools that are most currently practiced and advised at that time.

Lori has five children of her own and six grandchildren. She and her husband Matt live in Princeton, Minnesota.
